New generation digital patch clamp recording system

The dPATCH patch clamp amplifier is a low-noise, ultra high speed digital patch clamp amplifier system produced by Sutter Instrument. In addition to whole cell recording, it also supports single channel recording, dynamic clamp modules, and more. Compared with IPA or other types of amplifiers, it has a preamplifier. When processing biological signals collected from the probe, it is less affected by noise due to its proximity to the probe and the digital signal output from the preamplifier. Therefore, the dPatch amplifier can effectively reduce signal noise. In addition, it also has an electrode holder made of quartz material, which has the characteristics of low thermal expansion and small electrode drift, making it very suitable for long-term recording of electrical signals, especially in the case of unstable laboratory temperatures.
